Steve Eugene Mitchell, Glendale, AZ - A Glendale man who committed suicide by diving into a wood chipper was identified Monday. "The 44-year-old man watched landscapers use the machinery to shred 8-inch-thick tree limbs before he dived in," Glendale police spokesman Matt Brown said. "He took his wallet out of his pants pocket, and then, just like you would dive into a swimming pool, he dove into it." We here at SHF News would just like to thank this Glendale man for doing his part in cleaning up the gene pool. Story ©The Arizona Republic, unkown date Leonard Banks Jr. & Marshall Hogan, Indianapolis, IN - A gun shop owner who had been disarmed by two men robbing his store was able to retrieve a hidden revolver from a back room and shoot his assailants, killing them both, police said Thursday. The incident began late Thursday morning, when two suspects entered the 500 guns store with knives drawn. Police found both robbers lying on the floor with guns tucked in the waistbands and pockets of their clothing. You gotta love dumbasses that bring knives to a gunfight. Story ©The Arizona Republic, unkown date Steven Renfro, Huntsville, TX - A man who fatally shot three people in a drug-induced rampage was put to death Monday by lethal injection. Renfro voluntarily headed to the death chamber on a conviction less than 10 months old. He asked that no appeals be pursued and his execution be carried out as soon as possible. If only more criminals were this considerate! There he sat for 10 months awaiting a death penalty and what did he do? He took it like a man! He took responsibility for his actions and offered the highest price as payment. Thanks, Steve! Now that's what I call commitment! I urge people everywhere to demonstrate this level of faith. Story ©The Arizona Republic, unkown date |
