Unidentified Teen, NEWARK, NJ - A teenage boy posing as a banker duped an Ohio car dealership into delivering a $123,000 BMW to him at his high school, police said Thursday.

A second order was never shipped after the dealership became suspicious, and the teen was arrested. The first car was later found in Raleigh, N.C., police said.

"He apparently sold the car, and it ended up in a dealership in North Carolina," said Detective Scott Davis of the Dublin, Ohio, police.

The boy was 16 in early January when he ordered the 12-cylinder 2004 BMW 760Li with "black sapphire metallic" paint and a heated steering wheel and seats. He told Midwestern Auto Group that his bank would confirm the wire transfer, authorities said.

After completing and returning paperwork that was mailed to his home, the teen called the dealership pretending to be a banker confirming the transfer, police said.

The car was delivered to him at Dickinson High School on Jan. 27, two weeks after the boy turned 17, police said.

That same day, he ordered a second car. But when Midwestern Auto Group learned that the first payment was never made, the dealership contacted police.

The boy was arrested at his Jersey City home late last month.

Police said the teen was not hard to find. "He did use his correct name, as far as I know," Davis said.

The teen is charged with theft by deception and was no longer in custody, Sgt. Edgar Martinez said. Authorities did not release the boy's name because he is a juvenile.

Hell, what can we say about this kid? Sounds like a future congressman to me.

City Council, OLMSTED FALLS, OH - Dogs in Olmsted Falls have something to bark about.

The City Council passed a law Tuesday requiring doghouses to be waterproof and lined with bedding that resists dampness. The houses also must be equipped with self-closing doors or flaps.

Violators of the law, which will take effect within 10 days, can lose their dogs and face maximum penalties of 90 days in jail and a $700 fine. Councilman Joseph Vitale, a beagle owner, said he supported the measure because, "There are more laws on the books about how to hunt animals than how to take care of them."

The law was prompted by residents who called police because they were concerned that a woman was leaving her golden retriever tied up outside.

Good news for the pooches. Next thing you know we'll be lettin' 'em vote ... like women.

Debra Liberman, PITTSBURGH, PA - A woman was charged with beating her 7-year-old adopted daughter with a dog chain and keys, burning her wrists on a stove, dousing her naked body with bleach, then locking the girl inside a closet in a coal cellar with a burning furnace filter, police said.

The girl was apparently not injured by the fire, police said. She was in stable condition at Children's Hospital Tuesday night.

Debra Liberman, 50, was arraigned earlier in the day on charges including assault with a deadly weapon, attempted homicide, and arson with threat of death.

Police said they were called to Liberman's home at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday after a neighbor reported screams coming from the residence. Police found Liberman's unharmed 4-year-old son.

Officers then moved a safe blocking a closet door and found the girl inside. Liberman had set fire to a furnace filter and placed it inside the closet with the girl, police said.

The girl told police the alleged abuse had occurred overnight.

Liberman's son is being cared for by another person, whom police didn't identify.

Liberman was jailed on $1 million bail. A preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 20.

What a work of art Deb is. I'm sure most of you will agree that there isn't a plane of hell deep enough or evil enough for child abusers like this.

Christopher Slavin, ALBANY, NY - Christopher Slavin, who was convicted of beating two Mexican workers in 2000, lost an appeal. Judges said prosecutors acted properly in using photos of Slavin's tattoos of profanities, Nazi swastikas and a racist cartoon figure to help convict him of the attempted murder charges. Slavin's attorneys argued that showing the tattoos was a violation of Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination.

I've always thought these tattood freaks look pretty stupid ... Slavin proves that they actually are very stupid. Let's see ... a racist paints his body as a racist, with racist logos & slogans, then commits racist acts and then whines because these racist appearances & actions are self-incriminating? Duh! Fucking idiot.

Michigan Court of Appeals, GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Michigan Court of Appeals upheld a lower court's ruling that a local pharmacist owes a lump-sum child-support payment to a 21-year-old daughter he has never met and until four years ago didn't know he had fathered. A lawyer for Kent Balliet said her client could end up owing the woman more than $100,000.

Way to go Michigan Court of Appeals. Yet more proof that men get completely fucked in the justice system when it comes to child support & alimony. I'm thinking he should counter sue the daughter for mental anguish.

Luke Tresoglavic, SYDNEY, Australia - Lifeguards at a beach north of Sydney were stunned when a man walked into their post looking for help with a small shark attached to his leg. Luke Tresoglavic swam 1,000 feet to shore, walked to his car and drove to the local surf club with the two-foot shark biting his leg and refusing to let go.

"I just realized I had to swim in like that, hanging on to it," Tresoglavic told Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio on Wednesday.

Tresoglavic, 22, was snorkeling on a reef off Caves Beach near Newcastle on Tuesday when a wobbegong, or carpet shark, attacked his leg.

"Once I got on to shore, a couple of people tried to help me, but I could not remove it. It was stuck there, so I got up into my car and then drove to the clubhouse, and luckily the guys down there had a clue what to do," he said.

Lifeguard Michael Jones said he couldn't believe his eyes when Tresoglavic turned up - shark in tow.

"He basically asked the question: 'Can you help me get it off?' There's nothing in our procedure manual for that type of thing," Jones said.

The lifeguards flushed the shark's gills with fresh water, forcing it to loosen its grip on Tresoglavic's leg - with blood oozing from 70 needle-like punctures. The shark later died.

Tresoglavic was taken to hospital, but it was not immediately clear what treatment he received.

Wobbegong sharks can grow up to 10 feet in length, possess razor-sharp teeth, and are said to be moody and short-tempered.

This is one tough son of a bitch. Reminds me of the time I had to save the elderly lady down the street from being attached by four pit bulls ...

Antoine Miller, LOS ANGELES, CA - One of four men prosecuted in the beating of truck driver Reginald Denny during the 1992 Los Angeles riots was killed in a nightclub shooting, police said Wednesday.

Antoine Miller died Sunday after being shot Feb. 1 in Hollywood, said Officer Lucy Diaz. He was 31.

One other man was wounded. The shooting remained under investigation.

Denny's beating came at the start of the riots sparked by the acquittal of white police officers in the beating of black motorist Rodney King. Helicopter footage showed several black men pulling Denny, who is white, from the cab of his truck, kicking and beating him, then smashing his skull with bricks and a fire extinguisher.

Despite being beaten nearly to death, Denny showed little anger toward the men prosecuted in his attack, even as they were acquitted of the most serious charges.

Miller, Henry Keith Watson and Lance Jerome Parker received probation. Damian "Football" Williams served about four years in prison for mayhem and misdemeanor assault.

Tell me you didn't see this one coming? This piece of shit involved in a race riot eventually gets himself killed. Yeah, that was bound to happen. Frankly, I'm surprised it took so long ... just goes to prove that he was completely worthless: he couldn't even get himself killed expediently. Good riddance.
